Hello Friends
i recently registered with Text link ads.
it asked me to create a Local******.xml file and asked to give a 666 Permision, which i already gave. It also generated a long php code which i pasted in my forum header and i just got errors, then i created a Text_link_ads.php file in the root folder.
now, how to call that file in a particular PHp area or how to install the script in my forum. (IPB)

Guys Please help me in this matter.

to include a file in php use:



if you place it in your forum header it should call it in fine, to test the include try calling in a simple file with say just one word on it, once that shows up fine on your site then include the text link ads file.

If you get another error, paste the entire error you get here

I tried your method and dint get the results Properly,
so i pasted the whole code in the footer section and i get only the visible codes

where are you pasting in the codes? are you going through the admin cp?

Yes i post the links using admin control panel

try to edit the file by downliaing to your system using a cuteftp pro or even a filezilla maybe teh file is not given appropriate permissions to write
