thanks for all the advice in the past, this is a great site, very helpful.
I have a project that bvasically involves setting up a site that has 4 pages, that each would transmit streaming video image, that in turn is tranmitted from somewhere, that is the data wouldnt be saved on the server at all.
I was wondering does anyone have any experience with this kind of set up.
I am infact looking for a software to use for transmitting the image from point A, and then I am looking to build a set of pages a system/ that allows users to login and then view 1of 4 streams.
I am alos looking for a coder if anyone wants to offer their expertise, but I definately want to know what technology they are suggesting.
The amount of users will eventually by low (10-20-30) by the way incase anybody is thinking about coding the site.
Infact the media does not have to be "streaming", the only thing I will need is live video with audio from source, available to visitors who log in.(actually I think the line is set between transmitting complete files [http stream] and live streaming, and I need live).
