You'll need SP2 and be able to pass the Windows Geniune Advantage validation... If you can't validate you can try extract, open the main folder, then open the update folder, and run update.exe...

What's the trustworthyness of the file? Have you tried it yet, Willy?

I can not vouch for the trustworthyness since although Windows Vista Beta 1 has been released with IE7 and I have the MD5 Checksum for that... The standalone IE7 for XP is restricted to MS employees and TechNet Subscribers only - none of which have responded to requests for the MD5 Checksum to check against...

I haven't tried the standalone yet but a friend is bringing over an old eMachine later tonight to test with... But I advise downloading now before the links there (and here) disappear...
