Asa Dotzler, one of the main Firefox contributors, wrote a blog entry several days ago describing what, in his mind, needs to happen to Linux for it to be a serious contenter in the desktop OS market. This wasn't an anti-Linux in any way, but it opened up a huge can of worms, especially after he got slashdotted.
He's decided to make detailed entries on his 4 main areas where he thinks Linux needs to improve. As someone who has tried my hand at Linux a few times only to end in frustration (although Ubuntu looks promising...), I've found these entries interesting, so I figured I'd pass them along.
