i'm trying to create an inter face with textured text using photoshop. how would i create the same tree bark texture for my text on the interface above my textured buttons? here is the link for the interface http://www.powow.com/bluesrock/00001.html i just used a bevel contour on black type for now.

having a quick guess here (just popping in will have a better go tomorrow) rasterize your text and then apply the wood texture as a texture overlay
