I've just been informed that the picture with the dogs playing poker is supposed to depict Jack the Ripper



But I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find the reason why. Does anyone here have any ideas?

The dog with the cue is ripping the felt on the table could account for the ripper part. I'd guess that the dog is supposed to be a Jack Russell Terrier, although it doesn't really look like one...

Pretty poor connection though, in no way relates to the actual Jack the Ripper. Just a name joke.
