QUOTE
Rafael Ebron writes: "In ten days, we had over 1 million downloads of Thunderbird 1.0, the perfect complement to Firefox — great for those who get a lot of email, don't like junk mail, and want an integrated RSS reader."

Rafael also included some quotes from the press: In Mozilla outfoxes Microsoft, Steve Segal of the Tribune-Review said: "It's the first free e-mail client that should give Outlook a run for its money and is one of the best first versions of a program I've ever seen. I have no plan to switch back to Outlook, as I'm so pleased with the Mozilla software."

Hooray for Thunderbird! Good job, guys.

That number is now 2 million within a month of its release:

It's got a long way to go if they want it to make a dent in the corporate world, but it's an excellent tool for home use.

yeah you can't deny it's doing well, but in the grand scheme of things it's a very small slice of the pie isn't it!
