The Firefox 2.0 roadmap was recently released, and it looks like they'll stand on the solid 1.0 release for a while. The planned 1.1 release won't be until March of next year, with 1.5 and 2.0 to follow sometime after. I think this is a good thing. 1.0 has been pretty rock solid for me. Aside from bug fixes, there is nothing too major yet on tap for the next versions.

Even though the web site only lists up to 0.9.3, the Google Pagerank Status extension works in 1.0:

Firefox should have sessions and crash recovery. like in Opera.

The great Tabbrowser Extension (TBE) gives you that functionality, Waleed. But yeah, it would make sense to make that a standard feature. Some other things TBE adds would be good standard features to add like having the option to a close button on each tab. That's one of the reasons I use TBE.

That doesn't say they won't release quite a few 1.0.x versions between now and march wink.gif

Which is actualy what one of the developers said when he was asked that question.

a good alternative to the Google PR is simply "Search Status".

I'm not real crazy about how the Find feature works now, but other than that I'm very happy. I went against my better judgment and installed it the first day it was available (or second..), too smile.gif
Josh
I actually like the find feature alot. Very nice.
Joe
And me, works well too smile.gif
