SmoothWheel adds smooth scrolling to FF. The smooth scrolling itself doesn't seem too much different from going to Tools > Options > Enable Smooth Scrolling, but it does allow you change the scroll speed (still interested, Leo?) by 4 different speeds. You can also increase and decrease the scroll speed by using the alt or ctrl keys.

yup, just what i've been waiting for smile.gif

i use the scroll wheel alot but when you get a long page i like to just use the down arrow smile.gif

The scroll wheel on my mouse is a button and when pressed turns on auto scrolling both vertically and horizontally depending upon which way you point the pointer and the speed is determined by how far ahead on either axis you place the pointer.... This along with the Google Toolbar highlight function are my most used and appreciated features when doing research....

yeah same here, but i've never got the hang of it, i start scrolling quickly and shooit way past what i was aiming for laugh.gif
