For a while I had my domain morrowasted.com set up with nameservers for my host, but now I want to remove them completely-- I can't figure out how. Originall my domain was just set up to forward to my server, and now I want it to just forward again (but not to my server). It's registered on GoDaddy.
Is there any way to take away the nameservers completely from the domain?

you need to go into the control panel at GoDaddy and either delete them and set the forwarding to where you want it to go or replace them with godaddy's default nameservers and again set the forwarding. You can replace it with your current hosts nameservers if you have one.

Well I've already set the forwarding to where I want it to go. I can't just leave the nameserver boxes blank, it won't let me, but it says I have to have hosting WITH godaddy to use the "Default Hosting Nameservers".
For now I've changed it to "Default Parked Name Servers" to see if that works.

hehe, yeah thay try playing tricks like that now to get hosting. Try that if not contact them, i'm not all that familiar with godaddy. Let me know if that works, and if not what godaddy say

do you not have a hosting account that has nameservers?

I'm just hosted on my friend's linux server, but I'll ask him if there's any. Right now everything is at gregb.gregarei.com.

then the best way is to use the guy's nameservers, he will have some because he wouldn't be able to point any domains at his server otherwise.

I simply forwarded my domain to my IP
