I've used HP products for years because of their reliability and have never needed to contact support.
I bought an all-in-one printer/fax/scanner at the beginning of the year and as always worked like a charm, but made some noise when it ran out of paper.
Last week it decided to stop working completely, it wouldn't print faxes, print at all, and the computer couldn't detect it.
I proceeded to the website, followed all tests they said i should do and no luck, so i then called support who walked me through some more test. No joy, so they setup a replacement printer for me. It was due to arrive tomorrow but arrived today instead, was un upgrade to the next machine and was brand new, they took away the old one.
Absolutely brilliant support, everyone knew what they were doing, the dropoff and pickup went smoothly, i had been told to have the correct papers ready and now have a brand new machine!! thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

My dad works for HP, we've got HP/Compaq computers coming out of our ears.
